Church of the Lakes is called to lead people to True Life. We can only accomplish this calling if we get out into the community and serve. Wonder precedes the Word. If we live out irrational generosity people will begin to wonder why we do what we do. That is the open door for us to share what God has done in our lives.
Since we cannot reach our entire community alone, we choose to partner with other churches, organizations and business to present the Gospel.
PARTNERING ORGANIZATIONS
SERVING IN OUR LOCAL PUBLIC SCHOOLS
E3 equips students with the skills and motivation to make healthy choices and avoid those high risk activities such as drugs, alcohol, sexual activity, violence and tobacco. SERVING THE HOMELESS IN LEESBURG
We are proud to support Come As You Are Ministries. Thier Vision is to help individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness return to the community to resume and maintain a productive lifestyle.
ADOPTED OUR LOCAL SCHOOL
Church of the Lakes adopted Oak Park Middle School to serve and support. Two years in a row we have provided a back to school breakfast fro the staff along with gift cards for each staff member. We also had a Love Week workday at the school cleaning classrooms, trimming trees, pressure washing and painting. We are extremely grateful for those that serve our kids.

We were honored to be asked by Emmanuel Baptist Church to partner with them in hosting a Fall Festival. Over 500 people attended the event.
First Responder's Appreciation Meal
Thanks to the generosity of Oakwood Smokehouse and Grill, we fed all Police, Fire and EMT personnel in Leesburg in remembrance of 9/11.

Vic's catering has been unbelievable generous to The Lakes. Hosting a appreciation dinner for our volunteers, providing breakfast for the staff at Oak Park Middle School and sponsoring a fund raiser for our youth to go to summer camp.
